... the knob on my gas cooker lol. It wont go back on, as the place where it fits onto has cracked off. Now I cant use the grill.

Where can I get a new knob? Do I have to contact the manufacturers?

If Lancashire, try a company called 'hecas', if further afield, try hrpc (within plumb centre), or look for a gas appliance spares outlet. You may need information from the cooker (numbers are usually on the frame behind the oven door) or the instruction manual.

Yellow pages. You will need the make and model number of the cooker to hand and a credit/debit card and look up Cookers/ repair/ spares. I have had excellent 24 hour service through these channels

Find out the manufecturer and the model # of ur grill first before you call anywhere, try to call couple local places first, even the fireplace shops might have those (I'm in a fireplace business and this is what we do off season-gas grills) we do carry some knobs for the grills that we carry, so it really depends on a dealer and what kind of products they carry, try local and if that doesn't work call the # from your grill manual.

Try the yellow pages. A repair man may have a spare.

I think you might have to screw it back on.

Or get someone in who's good with their hands.

Oooh Matron!
