I am a die hard Red Sox fan, and I am willing to bet that the Mitchell report will also name some Red Sox players. This whole steroid thing has infiltrated pro sports, no team is immune.

And look how his body completely fell apart this season...as it was coinciding with the investigation. Is there not a parallel to the way Clemens would "unretire" during the season and cycles he could take without the threat of any testing/scruntiny. There is already one published story that the Yankees are going to take a huge hit once the report is released this afternoon.

But the story should not be the Bronx; it should focus on a drug culture in a sport from the clubhouse to the commissioner's office that was as corrupt as any communist state-sponsored program (East Germany, USSR, etc.). A player either had to get with the program - risk his future health - or basically fall behind the pack & perhaps not have a pro job....and those who could have stopped this either refused or pretended this corruption did not exist.

I don't care about basebal so all of these players can be on steroids. What I care about is the fact Mitchell has association with the Red Sox and supposedly there will be several Yankees on the list. If that is true, there will be a big problem.

I am not surprised & who should be. Why do Yankee haters only want to see more Yankee players on list when you will see names from other teams as well. Any Red Sox players gonna be on that list? I betcha' there will be. It's not a Yankee list, but a baseball players list.

When I heard this on ESPN this morning I totally wasn't shocked...I have suspected Clemens of being a steroid user for a long time...not shocking at all.

You shouldn't be, he's a "ME" kinda guy, I guess most athletes are, I'd be surprised if Lowell was, not many pro athletes like him . Roger is about the money, Lowell is about being a good team mate, taking less money.

they will release the report at 2pm eastern time. i think its all speculation any way. its basically players and trainers saying they either gave another player or saw another player using performance enhancing drugs. if the report contained evidence like tangible records of transactions between the players mentioned and the companies then i t would be more believable. i think a huge surprise would be if the report included the names of hall of famers like ripken or gwynn.

If he replaced into juiced, he all started in intense college. He never had a upward push of speed often linked with juiced pitchers. the place have all those a hundred MPH pitchers long gone to besides?

Clemens fastball increased in speed in his forties. Yeah, right. You wonder how this guy could sleep at night. He must not have a conscience.
