Find a patent attorney, not these companies that advertise that they help inventors.

HIre a patent attorney to file a patent application for you. Then when you get bombarded with offers from companies to list your patent in their directory of patents, throw them in the garbage. They will look like official invoices or bills, showing a balance you owe. These are scams. They work because a lot of people think they are ligitimate and pay them. I have a file full of these scam bills totaling thousands and thousands of dollars. Just throw them away!

just a thought find out if the item u invented has been made already if not try and find out about patenting it. the only way nobody can nick your invention that what i think.
