i have an artificial leg ad i was at my mom's house and i got a hole in the liner that holds my leg on so i used duct tape to cover the hole to keep my leg on.

I once taped a costume together with it. I was just about to go onstage in a major production when a seam let go under my arm so they used duct tape on the inside to hold it together - worked like a charm.

I made a bayonette on the end of a broom handle once by taping a big butcher knife onto it with duct tape. I had a raccoon trying to get down my chimney and I was ready to fillet his butt.
