Studyin his poetry at uni, library is poorly stocked up on critiscm books of his work? Anyone any suggestions where i can find information, critiscm about him? (in the North of Ireland)

Have you tried the 'Linenhall Library' - opposite the City Hall in Belfast. Usually very good for reference on Irish writers.

I don't know of any place in Northern Ireland, but you can contact the library in Newcastle West, County Limerick, because he's from that area and I'm pretty sure there is plenty of local information about him.
