Christmas is the day we choose collectively to use as his birthday celebration day. Our calendar has been altered and adjusted many times in the 2,000 years since His birth. The early calendars were a month off, so the seasons changed months from one year to the other until the needed days were added to try to stop this progression and stop the seasons in the year. So there is no possibility that His birthday actually occurred on that day precisely 2,000 years ago. So, just go with it, as it is. Let's all celebrate on the chosen day, it's not exact, but it is convenient.

i don't know really think that December 25 is the day but it is a time for every one who never thinks about him to think about him. We should look at everyday as if it is Christ birthday and the day he died on the cross. I love Jesus as my Lord but Christmas isn't my thing because IT IS NOT ABOUT WHAT WE WANT.so try to celebrate his life and what he has done for us everyday be blessed

of course not.
all evidence suggestes Jesus was born during a warmer part of the year.

Sostice offered a plethora of pagan holidays which Christianity could never stamp out, thus Christmas was an attempt to Christianize those holidays.

I think most educated people would agree that Jesus was not born on December 25th. But we picked this day celebrate his birth.

Not literally. It's just the day that man picked out. They say he was actually born sometime in October.
