Not for me, I am on the do not call list. The # is 1-888-382-1222 and it's good for 5 years. You can also do it for a cell. Just remember that you have to call from the # you want on the list. If they call you after you have been put on the list, you go to www.donotcall.gov and they could be fined $11,000 per violation.

Thank goodness for caller id. Even though I have Do Not Call, sometimes I get those Toll Free calls. Some days none at all, other days 5 or 6. I know the telemarketer employees need to work but I still hate these calls.

I don't get many of those calls, as I subscribe to Call Privacy, and I also have Caller ID. So, if telemarketers call (with their number blocked), the call usually doesn't come through.

Charities and political calls have increased; but I rarely get repeat calls because I tell them that I do not contribute to any group that calls me on the phone; and I no longer participate in any phone surveys.

I'm also on the US Do Not Call registery, I haven't had a sales call in 2 years.

You can register your landline and cell phones on this website, it prohibits phone calls from any business you do not have a relationship with:
US National Do Not Call Registry

Maybe once a year, I get a call telling me that they're conducting a survey & I tell them I'm not interested. Even though I'm registered on the "Do Not Call" list, my phone number is dialed randomly. Being on the DNC list has made a big difference.

At work definitely! Drives me crazy! Don't have that problem at home due to being on the Do Not Call Registry

The telemarketers have a relationship with my answering machine. I refuse to let it get any more intimate than that.

A while ago, Goldwing gave us a phone number to block unsolicited call, it is wonderful, no more trying to sell me something, or give me something that only costs $200, no more surveys, except one from our local TV news program....but peaceful and quite!
