In real life, never, but I had a bizarre dream recently in which I did! I remember thinking it was so easy to pilot. The next thing I knew I was trying to land on a very busy pier and the helicopter had no balance so I was trying to stop it like a child does a bicycle; by crashing into sometihng. Eventually I parked it up against the pier and went off and did whatever it was needed doing. To my suprise it had gone when I returned!

Yes. I took a helicopter tour in Maui, and I took a ride on one once at King's Island amusement park.

Yeah! Several times . But the rides are uncomfortable and noisy. I have flown from Bombay to Bombay High oil field in 1984 to 1992

No. I'm not afraid to fly -- in fact, I earned a private pilot's license, but helicopters have always seemed more dangerous to me than something with wings. If a plane's engine(s) quit, you can glide for a while - a helicopter drops like a rock.

Yes, once when I was about 16, air experience flight in an RAF Whirlwind I think. Very noisy and much too short a flight.

Yes, once over the tundra of the Canadian north, once over the island of Maui, and I pilotted a simulator in Dallas Tx -it was a blast, I flew right over Mt Fuji.

Yes!!! I was Air Assault and Air Borne in the Army. Air Assault is done completely out of helicopters.
Not only have I flown in them, I have also rappelled out of them!!!
