Starboard = Right
Port = Left
Bow = Front
Stern = Back

Just remember that port has 4 letters in it and so does left.

port is left, starboard is is right. So, starboard bow would be to the right side of the bow.

starboard means "right" and bow means "front"
so starboard bow would be right of front. unless the ship or boat is a dual hull the it would mean the right hand hull at the forward end or "bow".

Starboard is the right sideof a ship . (Green nav light)
Port is the left side. (Red nav light)
Easy way to remember is....
Port wine is "red "& there's none "left".
