I was 3-0 but then I lost to this kid last night because the ref didnt call my near fault points!! but anyway, people at my school expect me to win because I take the sport so seriously. But All I can think about is that during football season, I had one fumble during the 3rd game and the rest of the season I was worried about fumbling and I did practiclly everygame. I REALLY dont want the same thing to happen in wrestling, so this might be a stupid question but help if you can plz. thanks

Quit being scared that you are going to lose and just wrestle your best. If you put it out of your mind then you will do better. Don't let one loss get to your head. Think about the other 3 people who you beat and remember that you can do the same if you have the right mindset.

That is your motivation right there. See how it felt to loose, think about that when you're at practice and you start to feel tired and don't want to push it anymore. That's what I did in high school and I did great through out my career. Don't focus on the lose when you get out on the mat again, but use it during practice and when you have to dig down deep to get that overtime takedown or to fight off your back when you feel like there is nothing left in your tank.

use it as motivation, when you have reached the point in training or practice where it hurts so bad, or it seems like your not getting better think of the way the loss made you feel and it will push you further

listen to some angry, loud music on your HEADPHONES not outload, cuz you'll wanna blast it. then lock your self in your room, turn the TV off lay on your bed, and you'll eventually fall asleep, and then when you wake up you'll either forget about it, or you'll be calm enough to forget about it. thats what i do when i loose a volleyball match and thats what my brother does ehen he looses a wrestling or football match.

this way you can forget about it and move on
