I am going to post this question randomly through the day, if you are taking clomid then add me as your friend. We would be best able to answer each others questions when they pop up because we are buddies (then go through my list and add those people). I invite anyone who is interested also!!!! I think it will be interesting to see how many of us are suffering through hot flashes, and on the brink of ripping off our husbands head at certain times of the day (only sometimes), hehe.Thanks girls, have a good day!!! Hey, Ive taken Clomid for 3 Months with the advice of an OB and now am with a RE he put me back on it after a break and just changed the days, had my first cycle last month with IUI and unfortunately did not conceive, this month they found a cyst so told me to take a month off meds and try on our own. When I took Clomid for the first time I got hot flushes and was so moody but this time around I didnt get the hot flushes just some stomach aches and some mood swings and crying for silly things. I have started my 2nd cycle with clomid. Today is my last day taking it. I am hoping to ovulate sometime next week. I ovulated last month, but did not get pregnant. I guess I am really lucky, because I have not had any side effects from clomid. I was concerned because I also have colitis, but luckily I am feeling great. My doctor also prescribed estradoil for me to take days 9-12. She said it should create a nice lining in the uturus for an egg to implant. I am hopeful this month! Hey there, been ttc for over 3 years now. This is my 4th month of clomid 50mg days 5-9. I find out in 5 days if it worked this month. The whole 4 months i have ovulated just not conceived. I also have PCOS. I would love to have a chat. All the best. xxxxx

Hi im all for the "Clomid Club" I have only been on it for 2 months and am in my 2ww at the moment. Last cycle i got my period a week before it was due, so i have just had another ovidrel injection to stop that from happening again!! fingers crossed for both of us! How long have you been on clomid for?

I have been taking clomid for the last 10 months. I saw my gyno the other day and he wants to give me a break from it for a few months. It works in that I ovulated on it (have pcos, dont ovulate on my own) but I didnt get pregnant. The only side effect I get is hot flashes, mostly at night in bed. My dose started at 1 tablet for 5 days, then 2 for 5 days, then 2 a day for 10 days! The hot flashes didnt get any worse though.

hey I am starting clomid this month, probably next week I'll add you to my friends, I already did 4 cycles of clomif before, but I stop now I am taking metfromin so next week I'll be starting clomid 100mg on days 5-9 I'll keep u posted

I just started this cycle 50mg, 3 more days til AF. Wishing everyone Baby Dust! I must say I do suffer from the "hot flashes" but nothing is as worse as "Prednisone" that is the motherload of all pills that gives you deppression & makes you crazy and have hot flashes like no tomorrow! It literally made me have anxiety the whole month I was on it 25 mg for my asthma. but it had all the worse side effects the clomid is not as bad believe me.

Hey hun! I took Clomid for 6 months about 3 years ago and it was one of the most miserable times of my life... I could compare it to the other miserable time of my life when I took the Lupron shot for Endometriosis. That was like menopause! Anyhoo, I had awful acne while taking Clomid and constant hot flashes. At the time I lived on the East Coast and my "then" husband and I were driving to Connecticut. There was a freaking blizzard outside and I had Max AC on and the windows rolled down. He was blue. LOL. I would sweat on the top of my head and in the shower. I would wake up in pools of sweat in the morning. AND I didn't get along with my him for the entire 6 months. He basically slept on the couch! It was awful! It wasn't even worth it for me personally because we didn't even get pregnant. I had IUIs done monthly and the doctors would time me for an ultrasound to check my follicles and if ready, would inject me with HcG to make me ovulate for the next days IUI. Plus, he was getting daily HcG injections in his butt to increase his fluids. It was such a stressful time. So bad that it tore us apart and we divorced. So please be as nice as you possibly can!! :) Good Luck!!!

I am on clomid aswell. This is my thrid month taking it. I have ovualated but not been able to get PG. It is not recommended by my doctor to take it again after 3mts. He wants to see if this month we get PG if not we will need to see a specialist!!! Good Luck I hope I get PG this month!!

ive just been prescribed it, unfortunately as need to start on cycle day 2 it will be about 1st jan before i can start.....arghhh seems ages away.
i am reading any posts on comid so i have an idea on what to expect...actually a little bit scared (excited as well of course)
