Kind of. When I was a kid my boss was fixing to fire me, so I beat him to the punch and quit on the spot. And most recently I took time out of work and several months later when I returned I was told they were very satisfied with my fill ins (notice the plural) and they would appreciate it if I did not return. So INDIRECTLY I guess I was fired. But I have since started a new job and get better pay and LESS work.

YES. I was "let go" because I refused to tell my boss our store had just received a huge very valuable donation of goods (I was Manager of a thrift store). My boss found out because one of my employees called her and told her, so she made up a false reason to fire me, then took everything that was valuable to her store. I filed a grievance, and EVERYONE involved got fired, and I got an embarrassed apology from the company CEO.

Yes! I was fired a couple of weeks ago! I couldn't stand my managers and was kind of relieved.

However, they said that I "walked out", which for them usually means the same as "quit". So I'm putting on my resumes that I quit. Don't you love loopholes! :)
