I like to listen to just about any kind of music. As long as its something to listen to. Some music lifts the soul and others make me want to get up and dance lol! I prefer any thing except , hard core death metal . Take care!

Any mood...anything with a bouncy tune....
Although I love classical, jazz, R&B, classic rock, disco, blues, SOME country....as long as it's "good" I don't care what genre or what era the music came from...

Well firstly, I'll go just about any genre

So when I'm happy something with good drums or a good bass lline with a "boppy feel" like Kate Nash

When I'm sad I want acoustic and/or in depth lyrics like Death Cab For Cutie

I listen to dance music when I am happy and gospel when I am sad, to lift my spirits. I see am not the only one. It is really good.

I listen to oldies mostly of all genres, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's & 80's. Not a fan of much after that time and even more so millennium music, just not for me. I dislike rap, and Hip-hop, and bluegrass, although I do like country music too.

I see there are some gospel lovers. I am one too. I love to listen to it regardless of whatever mood I am in. It is my friend.

My favorite genre of music is gospel, and I listen to it whether I am happy or sad.

I listen to a lot of everything in every mood. :P
My favorite genres right now, ironically, are industrial and i guess what would be considered "soft" (like Royksopp, Sigur Ros, Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah", etc)

I listen to jazz when I am happy and slow R&B when I am sad, because the soothing words and melodies make me feel better.
