According to this, there is a plastic pouch that is attached to the inside of the space suit with a straw that fits up next to the astronaut's mouth.

Liquids or anything doesn't stay when you keep them on space because of the forces acting towards and away from the universe. The liquid won't stay and also if you release the cup it will begin to float and then disappear.

Have you ever had one of those capri sun juice packs or a juice box?

And a straw of course. You know those newer katchup bottles that have the ez squeeze stay clean cap? There is something like that in the straw so nothing escapes.

They have the liquid in a container. Since it doesn't spill out you can squeeze some out and it will float then you can bite it out of the air. The very small stuff would get on the walls so they use straws to suck out the liquid.

Even if you "spill" the water, surface tension keeps it from going all over the place. Water in zero g becomes a floating blob that you can just gobble up.
