i bought a metallica c.d for a guy who's 23 years old for Christmas. hes my older sisters live in boyfriend. anyway i also bought him a korn c.d i know he likes rock and and stuff but since i know nothing about rock music and only country i gotta ask is metallica a rock band?

LOL, some might get into a debate of semantics since Bob Rock took over their production work, but yes they're still officially a rock band.

They were they leaders of Thrash Metal in the 80's and now all of a sudden they're rock,they took a wrong turn in the 90's but yeah they are now
