I don't like pearls. Have you ever heard this saying, each pearl is a tear drop! The more pearls on a necklace the more tears you will cry! Goes way back to the Greek Gods!

personally, i think diamonds are overrated. pearls can be pretty, but require special care for cleaning. i prefer very dark blue sapphires. i don't like big jewelery, but for a huge sapphire, i'd make an exception.
