The cost of reserving a function/conference room in a hotel depends on the type of hotel, length of an event, the number of people, and the menu .

For example, if you want to reserve a function room in a 3-star hotel, and its for a half-day meeting with about 20-30 people, with a set menu, expect to shell around 350-650 pesos. Add around 200 pesos more if its a buffet. But if its a whole day event (8-10 hours), then expect to pay at least 850-1000 pesos.

The cost of course goes higher if its a four-star or five star hotel. Expect to shell out more than a thousand pesos/head. Take note also that the use/rental of equipment may not be included in the cost.

As a rule, before you make a reservation, ask for a package rate and specify the number of people you're expecting and the length of the event. When you ask for a package rate, you would at least know if the cost/head in reserving the function room includes the use of equipment and other amenities.
