On boot up, I have to RUN DLL error messages. I am told that

c:\windows\system32\dmthtcov.dll

c:\windows\system32\kxdtjimb.dll

cannot be found. Any suggestions where I could find these files online to put them back on my harddrive. I'm not sure how I lost them, and I have did a recent scan for virus's and nothing was found. Thanks.

Hi,

What is interesting is that a google search did not bring up any reference to thos files so it could be you have been infected and your scanner did not find the virus.

Try inserting your windows cd and boot from that drive.

Try the recover options to see if that helps.

Alternatively try booting in safe mode then run another virus scanner than the one you have if you can connect to the net.

Once you have gotten back into windows use a program such as ad-aware which locks registry entries unless you tell it otherwise.
