It cost the GOP and they are going to do the same thing.... Ah Earth to the DNC this is going to be tight durning this election you do have slim majority in Congress and the White House is still a big unknown right now.

Is it really smart to push the war funding bills and lose control of Congress and give it to the GOP again?

They have no problem with amount.
The problem lies with the strings they attach to it like pull out dates and such.

The posion pills and I wonder who is going to wind up eating them if the DNC keeps pushing this way?

The democrats have a very poor memory. They reelected Clinton, and now are coming back for still more Clinton. The only thing the Clinton's accomplished so far was to barely manage to put fires out and for Billie to keep his job. Only Slick Willie's finely tuned skills as a liar kept him from being impeached. He taught his skills as a liar to his wife, and now she is continuing the Clinton tradition of lies and then backing off..."Well, I did not have sex with Monica the way I define sex.."
Are you gonna believe his lies or the DNA evidence? I will go with the DNA facts..

With the Democrats low approval numbers in the Congress and Senate, anything they do is going to tick off someone. If they play it wrong, or something international happens between now and next October, they could find themselves scrambling for cover in hopes of maintaining their seats. Anyone who says the Democrats are not worried about next years elections, and maintaining the majority, is either lying to you or themselves.
