Aren't there past players going to be mentioned on it? How would baseball handle it if a Hall of Famer was on it?

The Hall's typical policy is that the plaques are cast with the best information at the time, and should stay that way. Some plaques mention stats now known to be inaccurate (for example, Cobb's mentions his 4191 hits, now corrected to 4189), and the Hall does nothing about it, preferring history to remain as it was when the honor was bestowed. Similarly, when Palmer tried for a comeback circa 1992, the Hall stated that even if he made it back they wouldn't modify his plaque. (The Red Sox lit him up in a spring training game and that comeback attempt was over.)

So, I doubt the Hall would do anything if Mitchell names one of its roll in the report -- and I would be sorely disappointed if it did.

Absolutely nothing, seeing as if they're in the HOF now, they must have been retired for at least 5 years (or else dead, but Josh Hancock and Joe Kennedy aren't in the hall, nor did they use 'roids) in which case they must have used the steroids before they were banned. Just like in the legal system with ex post facto (meaning one cannot be punished for an act later made illegal) in baseball, one should not be punished for doing something later made against rules. notice how Burleigh Grimes and several other legal spitballers are enshrined. Did the HOF say "They threw a spitball, that's illegal now" and kick them out of the hall? No! That would be ridiculous. Same with steroids. I don't think someone who used steroids after they were banned by mlb should be in the HOF, but if they used them before, which anyone currently in there would have, they still could be there.

They would probably add to their Plaque that resides in the Hall, stating that their records were achieved in the Steroid Era and that they ( the player ) were found to have used Performance Enhancing Drugs.

I doubt there will be any Hall of Famers on the list, but you never know.

We'll find out later today, won't we?

What matters more is, what, if anything, will MLB do about all of this???

Mota was suspended for 50 games, that obviously didn't do anything; someone will have to be banned for life to set a precedent, and I don't see that happening!!!!

Once they are in they are in. They will not be removed. And likely if they are already in they did it before the ban.

If so...then kick them out of the hall. De-hall-ify them.
