The model is PSC1210 and I want to print onto tissue paper for a craft project. I am told it is possible -- but how?

You've been told wrong. It's NOT possible. Inkjet printers need the paper to absorb the ink, but not spread it. Tissue paper can't do that. The moment you put a droplet of ink it'll spread all over the place.

There is such a thing as "art tissue paper", found in art supply stores, but even THOSE aren't rated for printer use.

EDIT: Found a guy here that claims that you need to 1) use art tissue paper and 2) put regular paper at bottom as backing, and use spray adhesive to make it one piece. See here:

So technically you're NOT printing onto tissue paper directly.

hi purple, Sorry - you are able to not use an HP workplace jet to print immediately on a DVD. those printable DVDs are for printers that have a definite rack to hold the CDs & DVDs. What you're able to do is print on labels and prepare them to the printable DVD. I had an Epson that revealed immediately on DVDs however the cost of ink replaced into killing me. I switched to an HP and used paper labels on the printable DVDs I had. They worked advantageous. Norm

You cannot. The fibres on tissue paper are too loosely woven to hold and distribute the ink properly.

You can buy ink jet printable translucent vellum, which will give you a similar effect.
