It is possible that you can make the arguement that they are the best team in the National League, but they are still not as good as either the Red Sox or Tigers.

I like the Dodgers, but there is no way this is even close to a better lineup than what the Tigers, Red Sox, or Yankees have.
Pierre can run, thats about his only asset. Laroche might not even start at third, Torre likes veterans. Will Schmidt be fully healthy next season? Kemp could be traded if not, for pitching depth.

Pierre isn't that good, Furcal isn't that good, Kemp will be good, LOL Andruw Jones, Kent will do fine if Martin can post close to the same numbers as last year, Loney will be alright, and LoRoche hasn't proven anything.
The Staff needs help. They will not be on every night so the Middle relievers need to step it up a huge notch.
They will not win their division.

If Schmidt can stay healthy, and I would still like to have seen M-Cabrera in this lineup. Their young players will have to grow up a lot for them to be successful.
