I like to be called by my first name at work, by friends and family. But when it comes to lawyers, telemarketers, salesreps etc I would rather be called Mrs.

You can call me Sir!
Depends on the occassion, first names are fine once you know someone in business but I always like to introduce formally first - its a strange language thing like the French "Tu" - can get you into trouble!

Mrs by bill collectors.Sharen by my friends or customers.A lot of these customers have come to be friends. And being too formal is stuffy.
