I would be grateful if someone can give me the title and artist of the best pieces of modern tango music or electronic tango for a presentation I am doing.

Gotan Project is a very good band who does new-electronic tango. Try to find their music.
I don't know if Astor Piazzola is considered new or not, he is rather classic, but Libertango by Astor Piazzola has been interpreted in many new versions. Look for that too.

the best one is the band "Bajo Fondo" led by the twice oscar winning musician Gustavo Santaolalla
Perfume is one of the best songs ever
