I would get in,throw my shoes in the corner,and sit on the clean sofa with my work clothes on.Then I go for a bath and be 3 hours.then I will cook and eat and leave the place like a tip.Now,surely,if you asking me to come to yours,hey that is soliciting isn't it???

If I was to truly make myself at home I would change into my pj bottoms & a baggy sweat top, root around the cupboards for something to eat, flop on the sofa & nab the remote control.
EDIT - The only place I know I can do this at my Mums house, lol.

I would come in and sit very still and try not to make a noise or touch anything unless told to.
I would much prefer someone saying " hi, how are you? Sit down. Can i get u anything? ( always give a choice)" it would make me much more relaxed

Depending on who's saying it, I would never 'make myself at home' in anyone other than my family's home anyway, even if I get told too

I don't 'make myself at home' although I might be more relaxed than usual.
Note: My children never say this to me, they're afraid that I will!!

I immediately get undressed to my pants, grab their paper and lounge on the sofa scratching my nuts (its what I do at home)
