OH geeezzz...I love them both, but today I say Karen Carpenter

Karen Carpenter. She had a beautiful voice but sang all kinds of sappy songs, while Linda Rhonstant had a couple good hits then whined her way through several albums.

I know you love Karen Carpenter, and she does have the voice of a angel, but I love Linda Ronstadt, I love a voice with a deeper tone,so dear I pick Linda♥

That's a very close comparison.
I guess I would go for Karen Carpenter, but only because she played the drums as well as singing. (I think she was one of if not the 1st woman performer to do that.) She was excellent at it.
They both had excellent voices, and scale though.
