...always answer "I'm gay" when people ask them if they are gay or straight ?
It's like they want to announce it or something. Isn't it?

I think they answer they are gay, because it's the honest answer. I mean why would you want to lie about yourself? It's not announcing it, it's answering the question that was asked directly to you...
Not all oatmeal is obvious!

I do it because I lived a lie for a long time, and when I came out I swore I would never lie about my sexuality again. And I haven't.
What's the oatmeal bit? I didn't understand.

It is not cut and dried the knowledge that someone is Gay or not, so yes people who do have a suspicion will ask so that they will not offend a gay person with comments ~~
