How do you cite a film or movie in a report that requires MLA formatting?

Question

I am writing my final english paper, that is required to be on a film or book. I chose The Notebook, a book turned major motion picture, by author Nicholas C. Sparks. Published October 1996, by Warner Books

The movie was released in 2004 by Time Warner

Any thoughts would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

well you can go to bibme.org and there might be a trial or register because its free and click on Bibliography maker than click on the film tab, and than where it says enter film name,director..... enter the title of the movie(you might have to select from a list which movie it actually is) than you might have to select the medium of the movie, type of film and main performers, and year it came out but everything else is there for you.
