No. Old people are less prone to self-censoring.
If the old person was inherrently funny in their younger days, then they'll be funni-er with less self-censorship.
If they weren't funny, they'll probably just be more annoying in their older days.

They might seem that way because of their ignorance of modern times and they have old-fashioned ideas and ways. I don't find them any funnier than other age group.
