Who's out there that you would want?

Like who? The amount of money you have doesn't matter if a player is already under contract to another team. Unless a pitcher is already a free agent they'd have to work out a trade that both teams agree on.

Because they don't have to, They're confident with their starting rotation if they don't work out a trade for Santana.

They want to be just like the yankees and wait until some ace is well past his prime before they sign.

I like the team they have, but I would like to see them make a move for Santana... but not by giving up either Pedroia or Ellsbury... I am shaky on giving up Lester... I think the team is looking good as is... ****, they just won again man. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

They are working on it. But....
