Don't take it personally. Hormones are stronger than any bomb man can think up. Love her, but keep your thoughts to yourself. You may not be able to talk, think or do anything right at this time, but when the time passes you can reassure her that you love her all the time, not just when you choose to. Remember, those hormones are a part of the process that lets life come into the world, so she is part of a miracle and it may be the closest you'll ever get to one.

Kudos to you for coming out and asking this! Not many men attempt to deal with the monthly monster ...
And I can happily call it that because I am a woman and have the same trouble. It sounds like a hormonal imbalance, and I have experienced this also. I used to turn into a homocidal psychotic maniac - okay, this is a slight exaggeration, but only slight.
What I found very helpful were Evening Primrose Oil capsules, which the woman takes every day, not just during the time of the month. It helps balance out the premenstrual moods also. She may benefit from Vitamin B complex supplements also.
Also hugely helpful is regular vigorous exercise - she may not feel like vigorous exercise for the few days in question, but it does help regulate it and stimulates the body to regenerate itself faster, and again, helps balance out the female hormones, thus helping her sleep better and make better decisions.
So hopefully this will help clear the darkness - her problem is hormonal, and she needs supplements to help level it out. Exercise is also very helpful, and women should exercise for at least 30 minutes 5 times a week, depending on their level of fitness.
On the days in question, you could offer to do the cooking and tidying up afterwards, and keep some chocolate on hand (get enough for both of you, never get between a menstruating woman and her chocolate), keep her supplied with hot water bottles and pain relief medication (I use ibobrufen, but whatever suits her best), and peppermint tea is also very helpful in that it relaxes the general abdominal area. Oh, and girlie movies .... I always watch Pride & Prejudice, Bend It Like Beckham, that kind of thing, while I feel better with the supplements, I don't really feel like doing much ever on the days in question.
You might not notice on the days in question, but she will appreciate you being nice to her when she's not feeling so great. You're a nice man and she's a lucky lady!

You have to understand that women think they get a free pass to act like creeps because their hormones are a little spiked for a week or so.
I think this is immature and shows a great lack of self control and selfishness on a womans part. Men have bad days and hormonal cycles too... but we aren't allowed to act lick ******* so why should they be allowed.
Women want to have equal rights? Not on your life... they want preferential treatment and live by enormous double standards!
My apologies to those few women who aren't like this.
I will never tiptoe around a woman because she is have that week... if she can't control her emotions enough to realize that her estrogen levels are high this week and dismiss feelings based on that... well, she isn't worth keeping.
Unless of course she give me a pass to act like an *** when my Testosterone levels are high... like that will happen...

Just humour her as much as possible, avoid confrontation, and try to keep busy so that you spend as much time away from her company as you can.
But also remind her that you care about her, she is beautiful and get her flowers.
You can't win during that special time of the month, just get through it as best you can. But do not draw attention to the fact or mention it in anyway.

when we are in "our" days, you have to be patient.
it depends on the person. most of women are nervous, we might change our mind for something in seconds, we yiell a lot, we are not satified with nothing.
be patient, don't take seriously what we say, because we don't mean them all. on the other hand is a way for us to tell what is really bother us.
so try in a good way to talk to your girl and don't push things.
after 4-5 days she will be ok as before.
i hope that I helped you.

Don't take it personally and let her go. If you need to avoid her. My wife becomes this totally different almost insane person at times. I just stay away from her and check her on it if she becomes out of control.
