Do you agree that there is a place for this in a modern society or should there be no barriers to men or women.....?

There are also gyms here that are exclusively for women so it cuts both ways ....

Hey K bear....it was Tattersall's Club in Brisbane which at the moment has men only members .
They have had a few votes on whether to allow women members & so far it hasn't got a majority vote in favour .

I'm happy with the women only gyms. I remember 15 years ago while in New Zealand I joined a gym... but there was one guy that just kept hassling me every time I went there - would not take no for an answer, he even followed me leaving the gym, to my car and when he saw me in town he would also follow me - he was turning out to be a stalker. the gym would not do anything as he was a 'regular' paid up member. I left.

As for lunch for men only - isn't that what a boys night at the pub is for ??? I think it's much nicer for couples to dine together.
Of course though - you blokes can have lunch or dinner together - I just don't feel that women should be excluded or not allowed 'policy'.

Hi Bro........
I think that it is the heritage from the english uses. There , men's club are so much common, but I think that countries that call themselves 1rst world ones, cant have uses as in the 19th century.
I dont agree with that policy, clubs, restaurants, gyms, have to be for everyone. One has to be free to make the choice if going there or not.
That is a way of discriminate, and I'm contrary to any policy that discrimines pple bcoz of the gender, skin colour, ethnicity, religion, nationality or education.

it seems you agreed on this situation otherwise if you stand against this policy you would've refused having lunch there.

Ghannoujeh the same for woman put a woman next to muscle man, good taste in cloth (Including Gym suits) and obviously a big member of his body..what they will do..run? Yeah right

there IS a need for women gyms, i never been to one but i have been in mixed gyms, and although i am kinda young i feel REALLY akward there, 99% of the guys there just come to see girls in tight clothes do squats, not to actually work out looool

but whats the point of a mens only place?? thats kinda boring isnt it?

No barriers yes, but that's not up to me to decide.
We have a Wallmart here that fifteen-years ago was an all White neighborhood and now it's all Blacks and the Wallmart is now a Black Wallmart. Hardly no whites shop there any more. You would have to see it to believe it.

I am literally shocked. Black African Americans having their own Wallmart?????

You know, here in California we have lots of "guys" only and "gals" only places, and there is never a ruckus over having someone pop in. However, there IS a reason for these types of places, lol.

You know what? Some times you just need to go to a place and get away form them. Just for a while to calm you nerves for a bit...
