The KJV has been in public domain forever (at least since the start of copy writing) since it is 400 years old. So, no one will tag you for citing it or quoting. More recent translations, especially those produced by commercial interest, might object to the fair use doctrine, but it would not be likely. You should be able to check if there is a copy right in effect somewhere out here in the Wild Wild Web.

say which bible you used, when that one was printed... it doesn't have one particular author so you don't really have to worry about that. and state what books chapters and verses etc you used. :) jus as you would any other book.
