not necessarily. not all the paths to God (religions) believe there is a devil. They all believe there's a god in some form. The classic Devil is originally from the Roman Catholic. Weirdly Demons seem to be universally believed, but the original meaning of daemon has been twisted from what it was. It used to mean the spirit inside us.

If we take the view that to have a balanced life you have the capacity for good and the capacity in equal measure of being evil.
Then it is only correct to assume that God (positive) and Devil (evil negative) resides within you. Life can be made simple if you look at it this way.

If you believe it exists, then yes the devil exists. There is no way to prove that something intangible exists, so its existence depends solely on our beliefs.

I would say yes, I was surprised in a previous question that self confesses satanist didn't believe in god. I would have thought that to believe in one, would necessarily require a belief in the other. Whether or not you chose to follow either, I think the acceptance of one as real, must require the acceptance of the other.

No. We think hot and cold are opposites, right? They're not. Cold is simply a lack of heat energy.
And so it is with life - we see what people do, and label them good and evil, when in the grand scheme they're all just actions. You can have a "good" god creator and no "evil".

God does exhist, you can see Him in everything beautiful nature has to offer,...and so does satan...so if you believe in God, you must also beleive when the Bible, which is the Word of God, tells you about Satan, the fallen angel..the father of lies, the murderous evil that is trying to destroy us all...

When the bible was written the men of the time needed to keep people in their place so they needed an opposite to good that would be feared so they made satan.
