have you enjoyed this series as much as the last one ?

I only saw the last 2 of the last series, so it's hard to compare really. I love it though, apart from last weeks about the postie lol, I felt like I was getting filthy looks off people on the bus the following morning !!
No it's fab, they should have more shows like it ............ and more reality of course :-)

Excellent series this time, as it was last year, also loved Cracker written by Jimmy McGovern.
The Street is about real people who have normal life's, and there is always a good cast of well known actors, it is very down to earth and working class.
I like other things like Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives and CSI and all the glossy American shows, but you can't beat well written British TV.

I'm a bit late, but did watch it!! it reminded me of the Channel 4 drama "BoyA" which reminded me of the boys who killed James Bulger. I was sitting in tears when watching it, especially when the judge had asked if his mother thought that the boy knew that the Baby was still alive when he had buried it! Totally shocked me! I thought that at the end the mother of the baby would walk into the picture and take that baby away from the young couple, just so that he knew what she had gone thru all those years!!

It's the best drama on TV and it's on at just the right time. I'm ready for a cuppa and done all I have to do that day and every week just got better. Sorry it's last one and I hope there's another series soon.Thanks for the reminder !

Can't believe it's the last episode Bex, FFS it's the only decent thing thats on TV just now!
A couple of the episodes I've thought have been shite, last weeks one about the postie, I was like WTF is the point of this????? and there was another one that I thought was pretty shite as well, all in all though great series that reflects normal life brilliantly!

Jimmy is a genius but i did prefer the last one. i liked it when the stories, kind of related to each other, like when you seen someone doing something in one episode, you seen them doing it in their own too!! I hope you get what i am trying to say, i'm slightly confusing myself.

I certainly have bex.....it one of the best things on at the moment. Going to have to tape it tonight though as I'm out on the razz !!

yes, jimmy mcgovern is a brilliant writer,love the street, also the lakes was brilliant too.
