For example i'm writing a 3 paragraph essay and im working on my 3rd paragraph and the cursor is just staying at the 1st paragrah whatever i'm typing in the 3rd paragrah types where the cursor is located in the 1st paragraph. So i have to cut and paste and move around.Very annoying! Please help? Oh yeah i clicked on control panel and mouse properties and i don't have the choice to disable the mousepad.

Sounds like the sensitivity of the mousepad for clicking is set to high, try reducing it so it takes a proper solid tap to register a click
Or Buy a USB keyboard !

I agree with stu. I have the same annoying problem.

The mouse touchpad sensitivity is set too high such that even if the touchpad is not touched, just a mere shadow of your hands allows the characters you type to jump to the cursor position. I normally try to change the cursor position, but this is annoying.

As stu said, get an external keyboard and mouse, so you dont type on the touchpad space.

Also lessen the sensitivity of yout touchpad.
