I went to school with 2 brothers one was named Gary and one was named Gay. I also went to school with a girl named Gay (she was a *****, which has nothing to do with your question). But I don't know what they did to "cope" when they were gone from school. But back then they just used their names. I have wondered that though. About the guy anyway.
