Christmas is sh-t.

Crackheads ringing bells nonstop in front of department stores next to the red bucket.

Jerkoffs getting into fistfights over a parking space.

Scumbag relatives who could give two sh-ts about you the rest of the year suddenly decide to show up with their snotrag kids in tow.

Phony "sales".

Returning all that crap you don't want.

Office Christmas parties where you have to show up and pretend to enjoy the company of people that you wish would get into a car accident on the way home.

Christmas music. (do I really have to explain?)

Making eternal payments on the credit cards for gifts you bought in 1977.

Drunk drivers who get into head-on collisions and end up killing a family of four while they themselves survive and end up with a "stiff" two-year jail term.

Shall I continue?

The first thing that came to mind was three weeks off after working 7 days a week since September!

Spending the time with my wife, the dark nights, Christmas TV (which isn't too bad sometimes), and eating rediculous amounts of chocolate.

And apparently there was some guy called Jesus that was born then as well. :-)

Merry Christmas all!

The best thing is remembering the gift we are offered for free -- a loving relationship with the only Son of God, Jesus Christ. Christmas means "the celebration of Christ." This gift of Himself is one we can "open" everyday anew. That's what is so lovable about Christmas for me; He loved us first.

The best thing about Christmas for myself is if I can able to spend my Christmas every year, back home where I was born. But I have to spent my husband's family too here in Australia.

Besides being a celebration of the savior of the world, the lights and music are a nice change and itt is usually accompanied by time off from work or school.

Being with my husband and children. I love the lights. Christmas at my house when I was a kid was awful. Now it is my favorite holiday. I love to give gifts.

When it's over. I'm not a huge fan of Christmas. Mainly it's because it was the worst time of the year in my house when I was growing up. I try not to be a humbug toward other people, but I'm always happy on December 26.

Feel Jesus and God is beside you. It is the best thing to have in Christmas and in everyday life.
