I suggest getting a fake plastic fish or a screensaver with fish swimming through it. Yea, I know that's not what you want to hear but there is absolutely NO fish that can live out it's entire potential lifespan in the conditions you have given. Goldfish are cool water fish and can live up to 25 years but will pollute themselves to death in a very short period if they live in a bowl - plus the bowl will restrict their growth (they can grow to over a foot) and they will die when their growth is too stunted to continue.

A betta MIGHT work if you are able to keep the water between 75-80 degrees (most often you need a heater for such temperatures). They are tropical fish and can survive for awhile in cooler temperatures (will become listless in a very short period) but certainly not their entire lifespan. Plus they should really be kept in nothing less than a 5gallon tank if they're to live their full lifespan (bettas can live up to 10 years).

Come on man..
Think for a minute what a aquarium is. Its a closed place where the amout of water is limited and amout of food is limited as well. You need to make sure that the tank stays as natural as possible and for that you need a filteration system of any kind with ample light at least 12 hours a day to imitate nature.
In case you dont want to do any of these its better not to have fish than to have them and make them suffer..
Dont get me wrong they will live in situations that you mention but what the point right?
Gold fish stay well in bowls ( Unhappy Gold Fish )

Actually all fishes need the above. But I really don't kw the reason why would you even want to rear any if you're just basically lazy and not want to clean up for them or do anything extra, I'd suggest you don't rear any. The only fishes i see in aquarium that basically have nothing is fighting fish. But they're not going to last long too.

There is no such living fish that doesn't need oxygen to survive

If you really want a fish, how about buying these little glass fish????
they need no maintenance and are pretty to look at ;)
no waterchanges necessary either

Hope that helps
Good luck

a dead one. NO FISH AND I MEAN NO FISH CAN LIVE WITHOUT A FILTER, WATER CHANGES, OR IN A BOWL AT ALL. a bowl is an excellent place to put your fish if you dont want them to live. if you want your fish to live, get a tank, filter, and the drive to do regular matinence.

Betta is the only thing remotely like that..
Here's a good guide to how to do that as you will need to do frequent water changes..

Gold fish should never be kept in just a bowl.. They are messy fish that produce tons of ammonia and should never be kept in a small bowl with no filtration..
Tetras are an active schooling fish that you should own several of if you own them at all, once you own several you will need filtration...

Betas, gold fish, tetras...those are just some. If you get a beta, they are territorial and don't like other fish in with them. But they are fairly easy to take care of.
