and if so can you skate backwards.......and if so...can you also figure skate (jump & spin)
personally I can skate as required to play hockey but I didnt try figure skating

Kinda! I can skate on rollerblades. I use to be on a roller hockey team. I could skate pretty well backwards and could jump and do some tricks. Never ice skated in 20 yrs. I think this year I'm going to go for it. I'm sure I'll pick it up quick since I rollerblade.

NOT at all! My feet don't work well together! I can't skate, ski, or blade... HOWEVER, my snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, and surfing skills are rad. Can it be explained? I donno. I'm working on it in the gym.
