i'm buying a 8600GT video card, my question is are all the makers basicly the same. i'm looking on newegg.com at one that is 256MB, GDDR3 but its by a maker that i've never heard of. the reveiws are good for it. i would assume that they would still be held to the standard of the NVIDIA. right? any suggestions on makers?

Go with this one. 456 happy buyer?! How can that be wrong? Plus it's under $100 after rebate. WOOHOO!!

the 8600gt series and all the cards in the gt series like 7500gt fx and such are all using the same graphics processor from Nvidia i too have been looking on newegg and think if youy going for the 256mb to go with this one from evga. thats the one im getting once i save up enough. all my gaming bodies sware by evga for quality controle and quiet fans.
