E.M.T / driver or ambulance driver if not a full E.M.T. since a lot of departments will assign a fireman to drive the ambulance who is not an E.M.T. when they are short handed on E.M.T.'s since the driver will not be in the not with the victim being transported. He or she will be driving while the E.M.T.'S are in back tending to the victim.

I know the abbreviation is EMT. But I'm not 100% sure if it stands for "Emergency Medical Transport".

In our area they are called EMT's (Emergency Medical Technicians)
