There is probably an ethernet cable going from the modem to your computer. Just unplug it from the back of your computer and put it in the PS3.
They're normally yellow or black, and look kinda like a phone cord, only bigger. If you go to Walmart or something and ask, they should know what you're talking about

You can check the label of a cable, its an RJ45 cable and its normall yellow in color.
