Where are the same concerns for "Reid" being a Mormon , as there is for Mitt Romney ? I don`t recall Reid ever having to defend his Mormon beliefs and issues during any of his campaigns ?

One is correct in saying that Mitt Romney didn`t have to "defend" his religious beliefs . However; he needed to speak his testimony as to his beliefs` , because of all the Liberal Socialist Bias Media`s continual references to him being a Mormon , and we all know what the Liberal Socialist Bias Media references` can do to real facts , and the whole truth!!

A good example of Liberal Socialist Media Bias` would for be anyone to tell me "what is Hillary Clintons` religious Faith " without looking up the answer before answering ? You can`t , because the Liberal Socialist Bias` Media has never made it an issue with her, nor ever reported on it . You know what Mitt Romneys` faith is , but not Hillarys`, because all you know is what the reporting of the far left wing loons wants you know . here`s one for you : Is Obama a Muslim or a Christian ?

The media will report on this right after they report on the irony of ambulance-chaser John Edwards fighting for health care reform.

First Harry Reid isn't the Leader of the Senate - legally it is the Vice President of the United States, his primary job, versus the secondary job of waiting for the President to die or be incapacitated so he can take over as President. President Pro-Tem is Democrat Senator Daniel Inouye, whose job is to really run the Senate since the VP usually is only present to break a tie, which is rare if ever. Senator Harry Reid is the Democratic Majority Leader. Third place is the BRONZE medal, and hardly ever a picture on a Wheaties box. Then Harry Reid is a convert with no ties to the Mormon pioneers. Then Harrry Reid converted in college, no known proclamation of him going on mission, so he isn't an Honorably Returned Missionary, similar in pride to Eagle Scout, and yes, pride is a sin. Harry Reid married his High School sweetheart in 1959, when he was twenty/twenty-one, converting in college, wouldn't give him time to fit in a mission and get married in '59. And making the statement: "I think it is much easier to be a good member of the Church and a Democrat than a good member of the Church and a Republican." Really, and truly makes Harry Reid the red-headed stepchild of the Mormons. Probably wears a disquise on Ward Temple Night to get a good parking space, where his is marked by the dumpster where the left over fish from friday night fish-fries are thrown away to smell. Far from Romney: Honorably Returned, Draft-dodging Missionary, Counselor to Stake President at a young age, Bishop, Stake President, father Stake President, many Apostles visiting his home growing up and even today, along with prophets and future prophets. Don't forget Romney is a pioneer family, considered prime like Mayflower families, and Romneys had an ancestor who was a Mormon Apostle. Reid is far from being a poster child Mormon like Romney. His number wouldn't rate the speed dial on the prophet's phone.

Neither should have to answer questions about their religion. That's what makes the liberal media bias.
There was no Rice like interview of Senator Clinton on CNN, when she first won her Senate race and rumors about her running for president started, and she would have been justifiably insulted if she had been subjected to such a humiliating, dehumanizing, badgering by any reporter, but Rice is treated like she was getting what she deserved.
Kerry's accusers were, for the most part, ignored, as they should have been, and Bush's accuser given a segment on 60 Minutes, even though he only had a few fake documents to back up the story, and the producers had interviewed the secretary of the Base Comander, who told them that the documents could not be real, because he never used a typewriter to create a memo.
This information was no less of a story killer than the fact that most of the Swift Boaters never met Kerry in Vietnam, but unlike in the Kerry story, it was not allowed to kill the story.
This is just more of the same.

The media is only REPORTING the prejudice that Romney is facing, it isn't the cause of it.
Now why did Sen. Reid never have to give such an apology? Well because it really isn't the "Liberal Socialists" (your words) that are pitching a fit about this, it's the "Conservative Evangelical Bigots" doing such.
See, two can play stupid word games.

It will never happen. It is because Mitt is after the Presidency but Liberal Reid is OK playing a minor fiddle.

First of all, the media has no liberal bias . . . that is just the right-wing spin machine spouting that inane comment enough that some people think it is true. Second, Harry Reid isn't running for President. Third, Mitt Romney didn't have to defend his religious beliefs. Last, I think the religious litmus test that Presidential candidates go through is ridiculous. Can't we leave religion/mythology to the Churches on Sunday and let the rest of us go about being decent without being told to so by some charlatan preacher?

Reid is not candidate for the GOP and it is the gang of GOP candidates who keep dwelling on the issue of religion.
