Prayers, actually, when spoken aloud (in dry air at sea level with a temperature of 21 °C (70 °F)) travel at the speed of sound- which is 344 m/s (1230 km/h, or 770 mph, or 1130 ft/s). [The speed of sound is variable and depends on the properties of the substance through which the wave is traveling, as well as temperature. For instance, the speed of sound at the top of a mountain during winter will be approximately 330 m/s as opposed to 360 m/s in the middle of a hot desert.]

Prayers do travel fast though most people think their prayers are never heard. They just don't know how to listen.
Dreams are easier to aquire because you can get the results from your own action.
When they collide and blow up and fall apart you die. Spiritually, emotionally, or sensually somehow. No prayers or dreams is so bad, like being dead inside.

I believe God knows prayers before they are said. I believe it's worth praying for something even after the outcome has happened, as long as I don't know the outcome. God is not limited by time.

Therefore, prayers are faster.
