A fabulous book to read is,"The Ultimate Job Search" by Richard H. Beatty. You'll get some exact answers based on research. Buy it or check it out at the public library.

Most of us who are in a position to interview spend much of our time interviewing people whose interests are not ours. As I see it, it is a good thing that there are people out there who like the things that I don't, because otherwise I would have to do those things myself. I want people who do those things well.

You haven't said what you are interviewing the person for - is this for admission to a school, or for a job, and if that, what kind of a job? Our usual first question is, "Tell me, what interested you about this particular job?"

If you are having an admission interview for university you should check in the web site of the school institution
