By giving it to someone who is a little more capable of raising a child. You go get a parakeet or something, start small.

do not give bath...wipe down with warm and wet towel, wait till they are at least 1 in half-2 month's before giving regular bath
they tend to peel alot but don't worry perfectly normal, just use lotion on the peeling parts of the skin
always keep a bottle in the fridge..they tend to wake up in the middle of the night alot!
burp with very light taps on the back
to prevent diaper rash...use small amounts of vaseline in between the thighs and/or baby lotion
try not to let too many people hold it...i dont think it's good for the baby or maybe it's just that i dont like when everyone tries to touch them!
my mother always told me that she would squeeze the milk from out my nipples when i was born (it helps to prevent odors when they mature into teenagers and adults) ya i kno sounds funny ..
don't take outside for a good while
i was told breast feeding is good for the baby but i never did it
nd don't foget to give it tender love nd care!

always keep them clean and fed. get on some web sites. there is alot of them. there you will be able to find what you are exactly looking for. babies are not that hard to care for. it's really just basic stuff - the most important thing is for you to love to be able to take care of them.

you feed it every 2-3 hours,
change its diaper every 2-3 hours,
bathe it once a day,
keep it warm or cool depending on weather,
you burp it after a feed,
you put it to sleep,
You love it!!!
Ummmm, think that about covers it in a nut shell anyway, lol!
Have I forgotten anything vital.....?

feed them, change their diaper, sing to them, hold them, keep them warm and love them. For specific things like fevers and such, try this book.
What to expect the first year. There is also What to expect the toddler years.
