i mean, what is the minimum they can pay you based on the law that states it is illegal for an employer to pay their employee under a certain amount. it has nothing to do with the credentials or experience you may have

well it depends your designing web your work isn't limited to cally!

you can work with anyone!
as for Hourly if your starting your own your not going to get an hourly rate!

it's done by job!
basic packages about 5 pages with little whisles and bells is anywhere between 300 - 500+ so it could be very profitiable!

if your joining a company and all your doing is graphics then I am going to say anywhere between 25-60k per year would be a going rate and this will be based off your talent you mention you had some skill are you fair good or WOW YOU FLOOR ME GREAT! even if your wow you floor me great! you still could only make 30k a year because you have nothing like HTML JAVA coding to back you up!
and Flash is a big one!

By law what ever you states min wage is would be the lowest they would pay you! not fair but if your just getting started at least your getting paid to do something you enjoy!

If you were hoping there would be a higher legal minimum wage based on the kind of work or qualifications, that's unfortunately not the case.

Were you interested in what the realistic prevailing wage would be for someone starting out?
