Okay, first of all with the sd card slot, you can transfer pictures without having any wires. you take the sd card out of your camera and insert it into the sd card slot. the card will we identified and you can view the contents and transfer them just like you can with wires connected to the camera. it's a good feature if you have lost your usb leads. Secondly to get wireless internet, your laptop needs to be wireless enabled or if its not, you can buy a pci wireless card that goes in the pc card slot you asked about basically making your laptop wireless. To connect to a wireless connection, you need to have a wireless router which you can easily buy anywhere. Or you could find some wireless hotspots (these are basically internet spots for wireless use set up by some kind of organisation). you can also get a wireless router from your service provider. all you have to do is replace your old router with the wireless one.

If you insert the SD card from your digital camera into the slot on your laptop it should let you view the pictures on the card.
The PC Card slot is probably not something you'll ever use since your laptop probably has almost everything you'll need built in but it basically serves the same purpose as the expansion slots in a desktop PC (the ones you see along the back when you open the case up).
For wireless Internet there are really two types, there are those using Wi-Fi which is probably built into your laptop (you may need to flick a switch or push a button to turn it on, RTFM to find out) and which requires you to have a wireless router which is then somehow connected to an ISP (through a modem, some wireless routers are also ADSL modems) and there are also various mobile Internet systems based on mobile phone technology (which of course cost more) which require extra hardware, often USB or PC Card based.

The SD card slot is a reader you put your card in to get your pictures or movies off of it. Your PC slot is used for devices like Broadband cards from cell companies so you have wireless broad band anywhere.
You also should have a built in wireless card with your laptop if it is newer. This needs a wireless router to work in your home. They go for about $30-60 and connect to your modem so it can transmit the wireless signal. They also come with good directions so you can set it up yourself.
Many laptops have a switch that needs to be turned on to activate the wireless card on your computer. It looks like an antenna with rings around it and an on side or it lights up if it is a button.
Hope the info helped you!

Your SD card can be inserted into the laptops sd port and you can view the images on the card, from the digital camera.
A PC card slot is a standard expansion slot also known as PCMCIA and you can get many different things to put in it.
For wireless, you might have a wireless service in your area, and they will provide a USB or a PC card to connect to the service.
Or if you dont have a wireless service in your region you can get DSL or other high speed broad band and ask the service provider for a modem with WIRELESS. You will also need a wireless USB /or/ PC card.
You might find that your laptop has wireless built into it ... if its a new model.

You will need to buy a converter for the SD Card, it will have a slot for the SD Card and a cable that goes into a USB port on the laptop (the rectangular port). You can buy this from Kodak or somewhere like that. The wireless internet for your laptop is not supplied from your ISP (internet service provider), but you need to buy a wireless card. Your laptop may actually have built in wireless, you can check by going to:
(for Windows XP):
---
Start -> Run -> (type w/o quotes) "Control"
Wireless Network Setup Wizard -> Follow directions
If you can get a connection, you have built in wireless!

1. the SD card slot is to read the images and videos or any other data in your SD card ( you dont have to connect your camera with a cable to the USB port and transfer your pictures. You can directly insert the SD card in the slot and transfer your pictures to your computer.
2. If your laptop has internal wireless card. and you have wireless internet at your home ( internet with a modem and a wireless router ). you can access the internet without having your ISP to do it for you.

It's enormously silly to position whatever like that so nearly the eyes. There are add-ons in nail polish with the intention to reason it to stick to the cornea of the attention. In that case it is viable that you're going to reason everlasting eye harm on account that you'll no longer be in a position to get the varnish off your eyeball. The eyelid is surrounded via creases. This makes it viable for the polish at the lid emigrate into the attention. No subject how cautious you're, there may be continually a likelihood that you're going to get the polish for your eye.
