Is House affected by the writer's strike or what? Can you tell me when the next new episode will air?

I had heard that House wan't affected by the strike. Any articles you have read that back me up? I need evidence, not speculation.

It is because of the strike. I found this information for you.

News - Fourth Season started September 25, 2007
• December 1, 2007: We have been receiving questions about the Writer's Strike and how that affects "House". Of course, at the moment no new episodes are being created since there are no more finished scripts. Before the strike went into effect, they finished 12 episodes, of which nine have already shown. The others are being saved. Where things go from there is dependent on when the strike ends and new scripts are finished.
David Shore said on November 27 that they might save the additional episodes that are finished now until sweeps.

I hope this was helpful ~~~

It's not uncommon for shows to go on hiatus during December b/c that's when shows have their lowest viewership b/c of the holidays. It's also possible they're hanging on to what finished episodes they have as production on virtually every prime time show has come to a halt and will likely not resume until the strike's over.

the writers strike has affected almost every scripted tv show. they may be holding off some new ones until the holiday season is over but they may be out.
